Focus Marketing Inc. provides strategic marketing and business development services to solutions providers, including personal computer manufacturers, publishers of curriculum and administrative software, developers of instructional media, and designers of networking infrastructure products used by educators in K-12 schools, colleges and universities.
Before forming FMI in 1995, Glen, held management and executive positions in sales and marketing with high-growth public Fortune 500 and start-up privately held educational technology companies where he was charged with developing and managing the execution of targeted sales and marketing strategies, channel development, tactical action plans, channel marketing programs, development of strategic partnerships, and was held accountable for progress against corporate financial goals.
He was a top-performing education-market focused sales rep, sales manager, channel manager and education marketing specialist for Apple Computer for ten years. He helped lead a successful IPO for ADAM Interactive, now trading on NASDAQ as the leading supplier of instructional content for interactive health and human anatomy to K-12 and higher education. He has personally called on hundreds of teachers and school administrators himself and with education sales agents.
Glen has a BS degree from the University of Tennessee. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and contributes regularly to education industry publications.
